How to Install the Ver 7.0 Update:
1. QUIT KEPLER IF IT IS CURRENTLY RUNNING.

2. Go to the update page that was provided to you by e-mail and then click on "Save".

3. Click on "Open" or "Save".

• If you clicked on "Open", the installation procedure will automatically start. Proceed to step 8.
• If you clicked on "Save", the "Save As" screen is then displayed. Proceed to step 4.

4. Click in the "Save in" box then click on drive "C". The folders on drive C is then displayed.

5. Double click on the "Kepler70" folder (assuming that your Kepler 7.0 is installed in drive C).
The folder of Kepler70 is now in the "Save in" box.

Note: Do NOT rename the file in the "File name" box and "Save as type" box.

6. Click on "OK". The file will then start to be downloaded to the Kepler70 folder.

Note: Make sure that the "Close this dialog box when dowload is complete" is uncheck. This way, when the dowload is completed, the "open" button is activated.

7. When the download is complete, the "Download Complete" screen is displayed. Click on the "Open" button. The installation process will then start. The "Welcome" screen is then displayed.

8. Click on "Next". The "Choose Destination Location" screen is then displayed. Click on "Next" then click on "Next" again. The file will then be installed. When finished, the "Installation
Complete " screen is then displayed.

9. Click on "Finish" then click on "OK".

10. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER before you proceed to the next steps!!!!

11. Proceed to Additional Installation Procedure below.

Kepler Update Additional Installation procedure to update your atlas of cities with some corrections:

1. After installing the update file you MUST restart your computer. Then, run Kepler and view a chart wheel on the screen.

2. Click on "Birth File" in the main screen, and then select "Import Place Data". The "Enter disk drive A-Z" screen is then displayed.

3. Enter the drive letter where Kepler 7.0 is installed (usually dirve C) and then click on "OK". The "Import PLACES.TXT into Place File" screen is then displayed.

4. Click on the "Start" button. You will then see the list of places flashing on the screen. When done, the "Information" screen is then displayed. Click on "OK".

After doing the above, Kepler will be updated with all corrections and improvements that have been made to the program.

* If you purchased Kepler before August 15, 2005, then the newly discovered asteroids 2003 UB313 (Xena), 2003 EL61, and 2005 FY 9 can now be added to an asteroids wheel and viewed in the list of asteroids with asteroids Varuna, Ixion, etc.
