A table that indicates the asteroids placed in a wheel can be included with the chart wheel.
For example, suppose you have added asteroids Eris, Sedna, and Varuna to the chart wheel. You will see "Eri", "Sed", and "Var" in the chart wheel. If the asteroid has a glyph, you also have the option of displaying the glyph instead. If, there is a glyph for Eris (in fact, a choice of 4 different ones), so the glyph of Eris can be displayed instead of "Eri".
Whether "Eri" is displayed or the glyph, it may be unclear as to what "Eri" or "Sed", etc. indicates. A clever astrologer can guess that they are probably "Eri" indicates Eris and "Sed" indicates Sedna but, unlike the planets, accepted glyphs for the asteroids have not yet been developed and the abbreviations may also not be obvious. Therefore, a table that indicates what the abbreviations or glyphs are can be helpful to others who may view the chart wheel. In Sirius 1.1 this capability has been added. In Sirius 1.0 and Kepler 7 this feature is available for the Asteroids Wheel, but Sirius 1.1 also has the ability to place asteroids in a regular wheel and this feature is not available for the regular wheel in Sirius 1.0.
