If you own Kepler Ver 4.7, you can update your program with all of the latest corrections and improvements by clicking on the "Download" icon on the left. Downloading this update is useful only if you already own Kepler Ver 4.7; otherwise, it will not be of any use to you. (Do NOT download this update if you are using any version other than 4.7!)

How to Install the Ver 4.7 Update:
1. Quit Kepler 4.7 if it is currently running, then click on the "Download" button. After you click on the Download icon above, you will be prompted for what folder you want to put the file UPDT47.EXE. It is not of critical importance where you put it, but we suggest putting it in the KEPLER47 directory where the Kepler Ver 4.7 progam is installed just because this is a very reasonable place to put it.

2. After saving the file UPDT47.EXE, from the Windows desktop click on the "Start" button located in the lower left corner of the screen, then click on "Run". The "Run" screen will then be displayed. In the "Open" box type, C:\KEPLER47\UPDT47 (where C:\ is the drive letter where Kepler 4.7 is installed), and then click on "OK" or press the Enter key.

    (Note: Kepler should not be running while you run the UPDT47 program. Also, if you saved the file in a different folder, then type in the appropriate folder names in place of "KEPLER47").

3. The UPDT47 program will run, and then the "Update to Kepler 4.7" screen will then be displayed. Click on "Next". The "Select Folder where Kepler is in" will then be displayed. If Kepler 4.7 is in the C:\KEPLER47 directory (the default location), click on "Next"; otherwise change the directory before selecting the Next button. The update program will then check for the hard disk space available. The "Ready" screen will then be displayed. Click on "Next" to start the installation. When finished, select on the "Close" button.

Kepler is now updated with the latest improvements and corrections.
